Aktion Clubs of the Carolinas District of Kiwanis International

All Aktion Club Presidents* have been invited to attend the Carolinas District of Kiwanis International Convention in Greenville, S.C. Aug. 27-28.  

Friday afternoon the Aktion Club booth will open at 2:30pm and require assistance in being manned.  Friday evening is the Low Country Boil Dinner and Entertainment.  Saturday morning the Aktion Club booth will be manned beginning at 7:00am (assistance needed).  An Aktion Club workshop will be held in the morning as well.  Saturday noon there will be lunch and an Aktion Club Presentation.  The meeting for Aktion Club Presidents ends after lunch on Saturday.  

Accommodations are available at a special Kiwanis discount at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Greenville thru Aug. 1 for the rate of $79/pp + taxes.  Hotel reservations should be made directly with the Hyatt Regency Greenville at: 1-800-233-1234.  Identify yourself as a Carolinas District Kiwanis Convention Attendee to receive the special rate.  Each Aktion Club should determine a method to share the accommodations expense with its sponsoring club(s).  The registration fee has been waived for all Aktion Club attendees.  Transportation to the convention should be arranged with friends, relatives, The Arc, and/or Kiwanis members.  

* If President is unable to attend, Vice-President or other officer is welcome.  One officer per Aktion Club limit.
